How hot is the weather you drive in with A/C on?

Fellas, I live in socal and it's been really hott lately. I worry that if I have my A/C on my car will overheat. I have a 03/6mt/premium with 76,000. Just did oil change, plug change and plenum addition.

Is the car reliable in hot *** weather? Thanks

LOL KSWAY, @RiversideS13 - it's not my first car. I rarely use A/C that's why. I had my 98 accord w/ H22 swap before and everytime I turned the A/C on, the car would shut off. Traumatized me

I live in Westminster. I have this visual that my hoses will pop and the car just smoking up.

With Socal weather, I drive with the windows down 95% of the time and rarely use A/C. It still blows cold.

lol, you are way closer to ocean than me, you will be fine. your accord h22 swap was a mess up because my previous 97 prelude can drive around in RIVERSIDE with AC full blast and 8lb light weight flywheel without any stall or significant lose power.

I you are really worried, pay extra close attention to the temp gauge. I use mine all the time on the hot, humid (read extra AC load) Texas coast. The gauge holds steady at the thermostat's set point.

Hardly ever.... I prefer windows down. Even if I have the AC on, windows are still usually down unless it's ungodly hot out.

I do make sure I turn the A/C on at least once a week though for a minute or two just to keep the system from getting messed up due to inactivity.
