Im meeting up the owner again for the 2nd time, go to western union make a payment to clear the lien on the car so i can get the title of the car and go to tax court house to transfer the car title.

 

Dude! I would not trust the western union route... Go to the bank that he owes and pay them directly. It sounds like he is in a bind.. You are doing HIM the favor. Most people aren't going to go through the trouble and risk of western union. Until that is paid off, the car doesn't belong to you or him.

 

that is how i bought my car but i made the guy sign a contract saying he has to give me the pink slip once i give him the money. he agreed to it and everything went great! i transferred the money and he gave me the car on the spot.
