i love my 18"s...no need for those ugly 19s

youre right! the 19s do look ugly, dunno why they didnt seemed better in the concept pics. im liking the slate color alot though

okay, call me a f.o.b. but which color is the lakeshore slate? i assume the new blue coupe is the new athens blue, right?

 

actually, i'm a f.o.b.!!! : ) i just figured it out, i think: )~ the slate is the grayish-blue coupe, right?

 

Yup, the Lakeshore Slate is the second pic posted here.

 

The slate color is very nice and a unique color. Pic 1 and 5 are of the Athens Blue, also a very nice color.

 

Speedaholic, Its the gialla front lip.

 

I just talked to one of my friends and he wants to go check out the cars. I'll go and take more pics of the cars for all of you.

 

Those 19" are absolutely horrendous....

The new 19" has somewhat of a lip. Why are peeps with 03-04 doggin' the new 19" so much. Lots of peeps here will be upgrading their rims anyways, so why dog on it so much? They look decent, and has more lip then the 18" So what, at least the size of those new 19" fits the G better, the wheel doesn't look to small nor to big. Looking at these new pics now, the 18" looks sorta small for the size of the G.

i actually like both the old and new rims too. about the 19's not having a lip, there is a lip -- not a huge 2 inch or more lip you can get with aftermarket rims but about 1 inch which isn't bad. and to note, i don't know any stock rims that have big a$$ lips like aftermarket rims. furthermore, the old stock 17's and 18's don't even have any lips whatsoever: )~

 

BMWs have nice OEM lips on their cars..like the 5 series

the 05 19" rims look like 18's from those pictures.. i like the 04 18's better.

are you talking about the current 2004 5-series? if so, are you sure because i'm looking at the site and all three additional wheel options have no lips. i see that the m3 does have an option for 19" rims with a nice lip. however, that's the upgraded wheels option -- i guess i don't consider upgrade packages "stock" since many car companies have aftermarket brands as their upgrade packages for interiors, wheels, accessories, etc. whereas, the 19's on the 6mt is stock and not the upgrade.

not say that the 18's don't look good because i like both. i just don't understand all the hate: )

 

Both of the blues look nice. But not nice enough to trade in my 2004.

I sure hope they do something about the white on the upper part of the cars, though
