I believe Stone is only available on Brilliant Silver, Diamond Graphite, and Lakeshore Slate...
---------------------------

Actually, stone is available with Black and Athen Blue as well. I have the manual guide for the COUPE, which the dealer gave me while I ordered my car. Shows all the X and O of what you could get and can't w/ restrictions.

wickedik

You are really rude person. I was merely trying to point out that it's common for forged wheels to be identified as such. Go eat your cookies and go to bed.

Is it just me or does the car look funny without Brembos?

Re: 2005 G35's already in Hawaii

I find it rather interesting that a brand new Infiniti 2005 Coupe is sitting on a Toyota lot in Hawaii. Anyone else find that odd?

And I personally love those 19's, and can't wait to order my 6MT next year. Am I correct in assuming that the 6MT's won't arrive until early next year? These are only the man-u-matics correct?

Did you happen to notice the giant barb wire fence between the Nissan/Infiniti lot and said Toyota dealer?

If my memory serves me right, the 19's are only coming on the 6MT, but don't quote me on it. Personally I find the rims to be hideous and the void where the Brembos used to be is EXTREMELY noticable. The interior is nice but I am curious to see how the aluminum trim holds up as aluminum is very brittle by nature and will surely dent easily.

NOTE TO INFINITI: CAN YOU PLEASE GET RID OF THE WILLOW HEADLINER FOR THE GRAPHITE INTERIOR???

I wonder if they kept the willow headliner for the two new interior colors as well...

This is most likely a holding facility, I found the Audi & VW port at Quonset Point air force base (in Rhode Island) when the RS6 first came out and took some "spy pics." I think this is the port for the entire northeast but here's the pic:

wunautica maybe they changed it with the final model guide... but this is grubbs order sheet which says that stone is only available on Ivory Pearl, Brilliant Silver, Diamond Graphite, and Lakeshore slate... I hope its available on Athens blue also because i'm liking that color and really want the stone interior...

I still can not understand why they don't list the front lip as an option.

Re: 2005 G35's already in Hawaii

I think its because the front lip is part of the Aero Kit. And the front lip by itself isn't a factory option but a dealer installed option so it wouldn't appear on the order sheet. What is there are factory/port installed options... at least thats what i think

Re: 2005 G35's already in Hawaii

On the 2005 Coupe brochure the front lip is on the list of dealer added options but not on the factory options list. The aero kit says it includes the spoiler and diffusers only. I wanted to get 4 pc kit but it looks like I will have to order the splash guards and lip from the dealer.

The 4 piece aero kit should still be available... the thing is its only available with the Sport Tuned suspension package with the 19" wheels... If you want the spoiler or front lip you'll have to get it installed by the dealer...

Re: 2005 G35's already in Hawaii

tsolin01, I have an updated guide list for the COUPE as of 10/05/04. It shows that Black Obsidian will have STONE as an option, but Athen Blue will not get the STONE though, just to correct myself from my prev post.

As for the aero kits, you will need to get the SPT (Sports-Tuned Suspension) package first. This is a new requirement that Infiniti made. So people getting the AUTOS, you cannot get a simple aero kit upgrade, you will need to get the SPT. I think this is freakin' stupid and thank god I'm not getting an AUTO or I won't even consider getting any sort of aero kits. Since I'm getting the 6MT, I could just get any aero kits I want.

Re: 2005 G35's already in Hawaii

You beat me to it..hehe..my prev post was only referring to pre-ordering the car. But yeah, as you stated, you could always get a separate spoiler installed at the dealership, but this of course will close you more then the $550 MSRP, its called LABOR =(.

One last thing. On my setup, when I ordered it, I opt to get the aero package w/ just the spoiler. Then order the splashguards seperately. This way, the car will be made w/o an internal 3rd break light, which looks nicer then ones with it that would have a spoiler installed.
