well the insurance is most likely gonna cover the motor if i can get xtra hp out of the deal might as well. just trying to get some prices. all the de motors i have found have crazy miles and look like A$$

^The insurance money won't cover the cost of all the fabrications you will need to make that work.

If I were you, I would find the cheapest DE regardless of the mileage. (if you can't use yours) Rebuild the engine with aftermarket internals, combined with an aggressive set of cams w/ springs and a custom tune. That will give you more power and will most likely cost a lot less then swapping with a stock HR.

Still going to cost more then you'll get from insurance, but the better route IMO.

well definitely sucked up some water. gotta wait for the adjuster to check it out they said 3-4 days so im thinking monday.

If it locked then it wont turn over. I bit of water is fine if u pull the plugs and then turn it over to push it all out. Then change the oil and call it a day. Done this on off road trucks a few times.
