Honey i think i killed the car. possible hydrolock

today on the way to work its raining pretty bad here. puddles everywhere there was a dip pretty deep puddle maybe to the bottom of my head lights SES VDC and SLIP came on car **** down. pushed it out and now its sitting gotta get it towed. i have a cai with the bypass valve to help prevent these things. what freaked me out is after a few i tried to crank it i figured it was a wet MAF it turned twice then the was a kind of a pop/backfire and nothing. my hks has never backfired before so i dont think that was it.

wish me luck insurance should cover it less the 500 dollar deductible. whats a VQ35de go for these days?

take the plugs out and try to crank it over. did water get inside the car? See if you can take a breaker bar and a socket and turn the crank manually. Hopefully you didnt bend / break a rod

ive accidentally doused my cone filter a few times when washing the G and it sucked up soapy water and did this (misfires, low throttle)

try opening up your CAI and drying all tubes and especially near the Throttle Body and Mass Air Flow Sensor. I bet there is still a lot of water in there.

Edit: just saw Post #8
