Mini storage. It's covered, lockble, and secure. Put it in there on jack stands.

+1...i used to store my CBR in mini storage on stands when it wasn't going to be ridden for a while. Used to also use a stabilizing agent in the gas tank to make sure the gas didn't go to crap sitting like that. Not sure if this applies for cars as well, but I'd look into it?

Also I will add Fuel stabilizer for sure. If you can have someone start the car every now and again would be good also. Mini Storage FTW, I left my car in there for about a month

I thought it was said keeping a car up on jack stands is not good for the suspension components?

My Suggestions :
Battery Tender, Fuel Stabilizer with a Full tank of gas, Over inflate tires to prevent flat spots.

Go get some turbos and find a shop that won't charge storage fees...

Storage unit would be best. Unless you've got family to look after it.

prepay on mini storage, put the car on a dyno and drain the gas out of it, take the good wheels off and put 4 emergency donuts on, un hook battery, use car cover and lock up , seems like alot of work .. i know

+1 to what he said. I also recommend washing and waxing the car before you store it, keeping it under a car cover with a cable lock on it, treating the leather with some Lexol, lubing up your hood hinges, and taking everything out of the vehicle(meaning, all your papers, cd's, junk, etc, and vacuuming the interior).

I do this every year when I store my car between November and April, and have yet to have any problems with it.

Don't bother with the jack stands.....

Also, it's a good idea to chock your wheels on both sides(of all 4 tires) and park it with the E-brake off, rather than on, so your parking brake doesn't rust to the hub while it sits in storage.
