I think but don't quote me on this and I'm pretty sure some of the other guys can chime in on this. One is a short ram tube that is the same size as oem and the under is the longer version that actually dips Down near the bottom of the bumper. Again just what I think and I'm pretty sure I can be corrected if I'm wrong.
Yea they look cool but since you live in a warm climate all the metal pipe and exposed filter will cause you to lose HP....fact! If you want to change the sound just get a Z-Tube and a K&N drop in filter resulting in no loss in HP and you'll love the sound.

The bottom pipe is the "CAI" pipe. Basically just an extention added to the Short ram and it moves the filter lower and right behind the front bumper. This will need the front bumper to be removed for install, and during good rains you will risk getting water in your intake.
This is a great setup because you can choose either one depending on the season, it looks great, and it sounds awesome. The short ram takes 15 min to install. (Just make sure to remove engine cover, even though directions do not include that step) The CAI takes a little while longer cause you have to remove the front bumper.
I live in Florida and it gets pretty hot here, and I did not personally feel a loss in HP from the CAI. I hear a lot of people talking about "heat soak" but I didn't really feel a difference.
You only remove the bumper for the cai extensions, not the short ram.
Since you obviously only care about looks and sound, check out the furookie polished intake. Cleanest looking intake IMO. But I hope you have a clean engine bay, I always found a nice intake in a dirty bay looks out of place.

^im talking about if you want it CAI again your gonna have to remove the bumper every single time and remove to take it off for raining conditions. Isn't that kind of annoying.
