According to the shop it was the wrong info on the build sheet, and they will be sending me the new build sheet. The only way to really find out is to tear the motor apart. Is their a way to check out the pistons without tearing the whole motor down? Someone told me that by removing the heads and using a special camera I should be able to see the top of the pistons and usually they have a part # on them. Any truth to that?

At this stage I would try to make sure they aren't just trying to play you for a fool. I mean you should try to make sure you have the parts you paid for. That is shady as hell on their behalf. I hope you get everything resolved. Wish you luck!

Its really shady, i'm just waiting for the new build sheet. I just wish there was a way to check out what pistons and rods are in there with out opening the whole engine. Especially when its coming out of my pocket, but if I don't do it, its going to bother me and stay on my mind.

well... either stick the motor in and boost it.. if you blow something, you know you got diicked. or spend the day or so and pull her apart and check whats up..

biitchin and cryin on a thread aint goin to get you anywhere buddy...

and honestly, i bet the wrong build sheet is just a lie...

i got a ben frank that they diicked ya and your runnin high comp pistons in there... but thats just me.

IMO 60% shops out there are no bueno.. lookin for that easy dollar and especially if youre 1000 miles away, they gonna take advantage of it..

so dont be a fool, pick up some tools and take a look inside for a delictable surprise...

oh.. btw.
