My 5 month transformation!!

So I got and fell in love with my 2004 coupe in May of this year and boy have things changed!

I have always been a truck guy considering I am 6'8 so ofcourse trucks just "fit me". Something hit me in about April of this year that told me I HAD to find a sports car that I could ride in comfortably, afford and really enjoy driving..

This is just a short timeline of the past 5 months of my vehicle endeavors..

2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab.. 22 inch rims leveled the rear with the front and had a full audio system and Flomaster exhaust.

Then, after several costly repairs (replacing the transmission twice) and numerous other things I decided I was done with American made cars and done with trucks and set out on my mission to find a sports car that fit my huge stature..

That is when I found the G35 coupe. I have always admired this car and always wanted one but assumed that I was way to tall to fit in one. So one day in April I decided to go and test drive one to see if I could fit comfortably in one.. Sure enough I did and fell in love instantly with the G35..

After much searching I found this lovely piece of machinery in May.. 2004 6MT G35 Coupe. Loaded with the Brembo brakes, sports package and everything but the Nav.

The mod bug then bit me super hard shortly after purchasing the vehicle. I started ofcourse with the clear corners and the plenum spacer thanks to yall's input. Then I went with the short ram intake (I know about the heat soak but damn it sounds good!!). Found out the car was already lowered on the Tein H-Techs and equipped with the JWT clutch. I then in a parking lot on a beautiful sunny day a guy in a brand new Silverado decided to back into my car and ram his trailer hitch through my OEM bumper. Insurance cut me a check and that allowed me to get the Nismo bumper, Grille painted black and headlight housing also painted black.

Then I decided I need some new shoes!! Went with the XXR black 20 inch rims (thanks to Chris AKA G35man04). Changed the chrome rivets to gold and decided to call it a day.. For now.. The mod itch is still there and I plan on doing a whole lot more to my love..

Sorry if this was a rant and too many pictures but it feels good to have a beautiful vehicle become your own creation..

I think because of the Brembo's. The rivets and calipers are of identical color.

Yup. The rivets match the brembos

why would that make it look sick? He blacked the inside of the housing and it actually looks SICK, so I say keep the stock black headlights.
I like the 05 tails too, so keep those as well
