Weird idling?

I replaced the metal intake tube (installed by a previous owner) in my car with a z-tube this past weekend in hopes of lessening the amount of heat going to the plenum. Since then, I've noticed some strange idling. While sitting in traffic in neutral, my RPMs will drop from 650 down to about 400 and kinda float up and down a little, then go back to normal (650ish). It's only happened twice, that I've noticed, and I'm not even sure that the z-tube install had anything to do with it at all. I was very careful in reconnecting all hosing tightly. Is there a chance I might need to do an ECU reset just from installing a z-tube? At the same time, the temperature has suddenly dropped where I live (pretty much from the upper 80s down to 50s/60s) and this happened the day I installed the z-tube, so I don't know if maybe this is what's causing the strange idle. Anyone have any input? Thanks!

Flash the ECU, make sure the MAF sensor is plugged in tightly and the terminals in that plug are clean, and try cleaning the sensor with Sensor-Safe electrical cleaner. Also make sure your TPS is plugged in tight and there isn't any corrosion on the terminals of the plug.

Bouncy idle is usually caused by a vacuum leak, but can also be indicative of a dead or dying electrical sensor somewhere in the emissions control system.

Reset the ECU first, if that doesn't work then do the above.

I just disconnect the battery. I do that only because I don't care about radio presets lol
