oh yeah, and if you have oil consumption issues…. it is covered under warrenty depending on how many miles you have on the car…. so oil consumption can be a good thing… (free new motor)

i would look at as a good thing if the previous motor had oil consumption. now if you were buying a honda for example, that just means that the car has been beat to hell

Headache? Are you referring to problems other than window motor, dash electronics? I'm considering a auto g35 coupe btw.

Any advice would be appreciated.

James, thanks for your service to our great country! Hurry up and get that G, cuz you won't be at your first unit long before you deploy...I'm in Afghanistan right now, but my tour ends in 6 weeks...I'm with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade out of Ft. Campbell, KY
What's your MOS? 153A here.
Duty Station?

Secondly, for all u G experts, I'm also buying a G35 as soon as I get back...
Do all years of the Revup engine have OC issues, or is it more prominent with a specific year? I'm looking for an 07 coupe 6MT, in Ivory Pearl, Laser Red, or Brilliant Silver

I know it may be somewhat of a hike for ya but if you're gonna look for one, look in the northern region like PA on up, less miles and not beat to hell!!!

I live way down south and I do not buy cars from above DC because of salt exposure.

Oh he's from NY so he knows about salt and knows that isn't a big issue, haven't heard any reports on this car not being able to deal with the elements...

I'm glad to hear that this car is immune to salt rust and corrosion. I've looked under a lot of cars from up north and if its true that the G doesn't suffer then it is the only one. It is popular in the used car industry to import cars from up north and charge more here than people up there (who know what the salt does) are willing to pay.

I will have to agree. I've lived basically on the beach since I have had my back in 04 and have not had any problems with salt.
