water rushing sound after install of Motordyne spacer

so i recently installed the motordyne ISO 5/16" spacer with the valve. the valve is currently closed because its above 55 degrees here in DC. Ever since i installed the spacer ive been hearing a liquid rushing type sound everytime i accelerate from a stop. doesnt matter how hard or soft i push it from a stop, i always here it. it sounds like its coming from the driver side around where the brake fluid reservoir is. Is this normal after installing the motordyne iso spacer?

You may have a leak in the valve and you lost a lot of coolant. I would check your coolant level.

It may just be the spacer. Mine does this sometimes but it kinda sounds like a turbo spooling up, kinda...

this is a perfect excuse to put it on a dyno. pop the hood and investigate!

Air in the cooling system is my guess. Need to burp your system (pretty common when working on cooling system). Usually involves opening the radiator cap (CAUTION) and then squeezing the large upper coolant hose. The idea being that any air in the system will work it's way out by doing the burp. I don't know how easy it is to get your hands on the G35 upper hose though. Seemed a little buried last time I looked.

Recently, I've also noticed a liquid gushing sound whenever I am accelerating from a stop. I do not have any mods under the hood though. I'll post back if I have findings on the cause. Please do the same.

When you burp the coolant system make sure the heater is on fully to force coolant through the whole system. If you actually hear this from inside the cabin then it must be coming from the heater core. Replacing spacer should have had nothing to do with this unless you disconnected the TB heater line without clamping it like most instructions warn.

This may sound silly but I hope you didn't install the valve upside down.

do you know where the TB heater line is located? I followed the directions that Motordyne sent to a T.
