just wondering if there are any deals right now on the 2004 models (in SoCal) since the new 05' models are coming soon. If anyone has any info please post them (dealers, name, etc). A friend of mine is looking for one. Thanks in advance...

 

i would call around. right now is the perfect time for great deals for 04's. every dealer is trying to get rid of their 04's inventory to bring in the 05's.

 

if you are not going to keep the car very long, it is better to wait for the '05. Do a search for the autospies.com video interview discussing this.

that's what i've heard, but my friend called a dealership or two and they said they have no big markups (which I think is BS). what type of markdown should he look for?

 

I live in Washington, but just got a great deal on a 2004 G35 Coupe at Grubbs Infiniti in Euless, TX. Even paying the shipping, I saved a bunch over Washington dealers. Grubbs is straight forward with no BS. Check freshalloy.com for more info. In this day and age, there is no reason not to shop out of state.

 

The Infiniti Dealer here in Little Rock, Arkansas was offering me a 3500 discount on a new 04 6mt about a month back. I wanted the premium package and aero package, and he said it would be about 33,000 for one equipped like that.
I wound up getting an 03 6mt off ebay with only 5k miles on it for 27k though.

 

I've got mine 04 from a dealer in Chicago fo 33k even.
It has Premium/Sports packages/Trunk mat/Splash guards/ Black on Black. IMO it's a very nice deal. Don't you think guys?

 

damn i wish i lived where some of you guys did that got some awesome deals. i paid 34flat +tax license for my dg coupe 6spd with premium package. i know its a damn good deal for norcal i dont know how it compares to the rest of the country or california though.

i dont know about getting deals in califoria simply because the 05's are coming out. if you get an automatic i can see something like that but a 6spd, fat chance. 6spd 05's wont come out for a few months still so the 04's will still sell at normal prices. the car is limited product in the 6spd and infiniti just sent a bulletin out to all the dealers that says that 05 6spd will be limited as well (well atleast what california gets). this is how infiniti keeps the resale value up for the car so don't worry about it too much. infact the g35 coupes (or all g35s--i forget) are one of the highest ranking cars in terms of resale!

i dont know, i want my brembos and torque that why i didnt wait for 05 (plus i couldnt wait that long for it to come out in 6spd haha). the only real benefit i saw with the 05 was the mp3 player ability but oh well =)
