I thought the 05s are going to have more than just the variable exhaust and intake...from what I heard somewhere, can't remember, the engine is getting a few upgrades that are taken over from the S1 engine they built for racing in japan. Apparently the S1 makes 300hp ... and some people are even speculating that they are putting the exact engine into the new Gs and Zs because of the new redline. Someone was saying the current VQ engines don't like to have their redlines moved up...something about blowing pistons, not to sure. I don't think infiniti would raise the redline without strengthening the engine, which is exactly what they did in the S1 engine.
