Stillen tube vs Ztube

Was thinking about getting one since its made out of plastic and I can get it cheaper than a Ztube. Anybody have feedback on the Stillen version vs the actual Ztube?

Here's a thought.

They are both just PLASTIC TUBES. Get the cheaper one and be done with it. I really don't understand what feedback you are looking for.

I know that theyre both plastic tubes. Some people didnt seem to be happy with the Stillen tube and got a Ztube afterwards.

If anyone wasn't happy with the Stillen z-tube they probably didn't know how to install it. I had mine on for 4+ years and it worked fine and fit perfectly. All z-tubes are much the same, all they do is change the sound....nothing else.

I did a before and after video installing the stillen tube. I honestly can't tell a difference in sound flipping between the two of them. I think airflow is slightly better, really the only reason I'm keeping it on there.

Inside the tubes are the same. Outside, there is a plastic bead that runs down the center on the stillen and not on the z-tube.

In the end, it's just a tube. It isn't doing a hell of a lot so don't expect much at all.

lol did you really have to make a thread on this. theres so many threads about this topic. I would go on youtube and listen to the sound on ztube vs stillen because each will give you the same airflow.

You could make one yourself using stuff from your local hardware store and it could easily be just as good as either of these two. It is after all just a plastic tube that makes you feel like you are helping your car breathe better haha.

In terms of laminar vs turbulent airflow, the z-tube probably is likely more laminar than OEM, as air going into the resonators would be creating pockets of turbulent flow. Is this an appreciable difference in terms of performance? Highly doubt it.

Ok i shoulda been a lot clearer with the question. I know they are both the same but for example maybe the stillen cracked over time or wasnt made with quality material. Its ok i already found what i need.

you are a very good showing of a low post count member who talks out of their butt!

you wanna argue stock, well the z-tube is stock for 350z and the engine platforms are the same. now tell me why the g-tube is better than the z-tube?
