Wink Just bought a G @ steal price!

Single Owner(Millionaire), 73K miles
2003 6MT
New Transmission @ 40k miles in 2007
Navigation with upgraded 2009 DVD

$9000

I used to drive A4 QAUTTRO 5 SPEED, at first the transmission didn't feel smooth compared to Audi and the clutch seemed hard too , but after reading through posts here, i figured that's how they are and it's not unusual.
The only bad thing about this car is the paint is bad in few places, not so noticeable though thanks to the poor quality infinity paint..........

I've done some maintenance stuff like

Engine oil change
Transmission fluid change(Nissan MTF)
Differential (Lucas)
Airfilter

gotta do brake pads

Plz tell me any other regular maintenance stuff I'm missing... Also guys I will appreciate if u can share ur experiences/issues/problems with the 2007 Transmission

here are few pics(thts not me in the pic )

Thanks for any suggestions and appreciations.

9k!!??? this is sad lol

Im pretty sure the LR G35's all had issues with the paint on the side mirrors b/c there is no clear coat on them. but dont quote me on that.

Some other maintenance you could look into is changing the belts, the in cabin air filter, inspect all suspension bushings. with that many miles and it being 7 years old i would look into the after suspension as a first mod...not just springs but shocks as well.

and of course...let the modding begin!

Welcome to DRIVER & CONGRATULATIONS....!

With all the $$ you saved have those areas painted, especially the frontend. Your MT would work smoother if you'd used Red Line synthetic fluids. Check belts and cabin filter along with getting it on a rack and checking out the suspension and alignment. Enjoy your new ride....

i thought of redline, but when i read through the forum, i figured only amsoil and Nissan MT fluid were the safest bet as ppl have had sum kinda problems with other fluids.
