Has anyone with 18K+ miles NOT had a problem?

Paint chipping, premature clutch wear, awful trannies, warped rotors, brake pads that squeal and only last for 5000 miles, broken window motors, and the list goes on...

Has anyone driven their G35 for 18K miles and only had to do normal oil maintenance?

Re: Has anyone with 18K+ miles NOT had a problem?

5000 miles and my window motor has gone out and now i am having problems with speakers and bose stuff that a lot of others are complaining about (left side sound going out).

I was looking at bmw 330s before this car and i am still glad i chose the g35 cause i worked all summer full time and everyday on my commute i saw at least one if not more bmw's on the side of the road broken down....i would rather have a car with electronic problems that are minor and easy fixes than a car with mechanical problems that prevent it from running..... i live near a dealer and dont mind getting a free wash every couple of weeks with a repair. My mom has a g35 sedan and has had zero problems and she's at a little over 10k miles

'04 5AT w/ 20K + 1 driving school & 1 track day = No problems whatsoever. Changed to metal matrix pads for track day at 15K, kept stock pads w/approx. 30% wear for winter. Drives great, no complaints here.

Just under 11K, and other than a little glazing on one, most of my brake pads remain.

The only other issue is, if the passenger seat is all the way back, I get an occasional rattle.

Nope. New drivers seat cushion, window streak TSB, axel re-torque, and new trans/clutch. All took a dump at 22K.

I have about 21k miles on my 04 Coupe. No problems except for the ones I caused. Gone through a set of front pads so far covered by warranty.

+25k No problems so far. Paint could be better. A bunch of rock chips on the bumper and scratches a bit easy.

Love the car.

minor stuff that's expected with a new model. Seat rocking; rattles from the window and then a grease streak, stock pulley failure, brakes at 22k. All covered. Also the brake light TSB. and I had the seat control tsb done for fun.

Re: Has anyone with 18K+ miles NOT had a problem?

No problems at all other than a sheered off plenum bolt @ 14 K (right as I put on the crawford plenum). I've had "grease streaks" but I have this thing called a shop towel so I dont get that picky. Other than that, no problems whatsoever.

Early '03 AT Coupe. Only window creaks, grease marks, rattles, etc. I feel SO lucky when I read all the other crap folks go thru.

2003 coupe purchased dec '02 -- 23k miles - only grease streak and brake light tsb done at 15k miles maintenance. no paint chips due to clearbra installed within the first couple months of purchase. overall, EXTREMELY happy with purchase and have had NO other problems: )

23k+ with no problems at all so far. Crossing fingers! I have minor issues but I don't even consider them problems. Like the grease streaked windows and squealing brakes...you get used to it. heh. Btw, when is a good time to change out brake pads? Still on the stock set and I don't feel any difference from the day I got my car til now. Weird...

Re: Has anyone with 18K+ miles NOT had a problem?

Actually, about 5 weeks ago I did a full hand cleaning (first I've personally done on the car), and I did find chipped paint on one spot around a rear wheel well.

I bought a bra for when I drive on the highway.
