Wow, 17 with a new/used G35. I remember when I was the same age sporting an AE86 Corolla GTS red. Have fun with this car and just do not over do it on the roads, like some young folks do. Keep us updated with the mods...

cool story you hit the jackpot and score a g35 by getting run over. win win situation
welcome to the forum! just keep up with maintenance since it is at 54k.

Haha I was rockin an '88 prelude when I was 17... got my 2004 G35 after my first post-college job bonus check. If my volvo station wagon hadn't died, I'd probably still be driving that though hahah. Sure glad it did now, though!
Just remember someday you'll have rent/utilities/cell phone/car insurance/health insurance/unexpected independent-living expenses to take care of. Sounds like you got a sweet deal gettin roadkilled!! haha. OK i better stop before I rant myself into depression.
Cool car, loud color! Drive carefully!!

When I was 17 (1999) in my Junior year of highschool I bought a 98' Camaro with 15k miles for $20,000... My dad financed it for me (I wasn't old enough to get a loan) but I paid every dime. $440/mo for car payment, $136/mo for insurance.
I had to work every day after school doing construction to pay for it... but don't regret it one bit. I had that car till 2004 and loved it the whole time.
It was awesome driving such a nice car to school every day but it also taught me to pay my bills early and appreciate every dollar I made.
Now I have a 2010 Camaro and a 2003 G35 and still pay every dime. lol
