Just bought my G35.
WTF? All these kids gettin these cars at 16 or 17. I had to wait till I was almost 30 to get (afford) my 06 6mt in OB. I drove Accords and Prelude prior to that. Had to buy all my own cars. But I got mine about 2 years ago with 15k on it for $21k.
Heck now you can not even get a car loan until you are 21 thanks to Obama. You know I was out on my own at 17 and a half. Paying my own bills, that is what took me so long to afford mine. But what the heck with these kids? Where the heck do they get the money? My parents would have made me pay rent to live in their house after high school, so I just hit the road. Pay rent and still live by their rules.....no f'n way.
But anyhow, good job on your G's little kiddies. My 17 year old son just got a Honda Passport SUV and drives it like it was stolen, I can only imagine how many weeks you young guys will have your G before it has some body damage, IMHO the G is a little to much car for a teen to handle. Shoulda started out with a 240sx, or something front wheel drive, learn to drive then get something that will spin you around in the rain. Watch out for rain and no tread on the rear tires.

Grats on the G, please take a read at this link if this is your first RWD car. Don't total it within a week like I did

Congrats. I am 25 and have a chance to buy a 2004 G coupe. $10k CAD w/50,000km (35,000 miles). That's a pretty good deal from what I can see so I can't pass this up. Look forward to joining the community soon!
