yeah i know. i just don't like the winding up humming kind of sound a lot of the exhausts for the g35 have.

and for the solid bushings can those replace just the rear bushings or do i still need to replace the whole rear subframe? and are the solid bushings easier to break?

When looking for an exhaust the best thing to do is go to some meets in your area and listen to a few. Do you like a raspier sounds or are you looking to keep the VQ warble as most of us refer to it as?

As for the solid bushings, they are the only replacement option that doesnt require you to replace the whole subframe. They are stronger than OEM so no they are not easier to break. They also limit the wheelhop from hard launches on an independent suspension that these cars a prone to. The only downside is some people say that they may cause you to hear some gear whine inside the car since the diff isn't isolated by rubber bushings anymore. But if you are getting a louder exhaust you probably wouldnt notice anyway.

There wont be haters if they knew the background story. Buddy of mine got over a million for being hit by a bus when he was 17.

Please for your sake though before you do anything learn to drive a rwd car. By that i mean take it easy in bad weather, not that you cant drive.

Kind of a gurgling sound. All VQ's have this very unique exhaust tone.

Oooo I have found one! haha yeah I have been looking for about 2-3 months now. I want a 6MT and I would prefer LR or CB. This one looks decent though, just high mileage.

i found mine off craigslist. one thing you wanna do if your gonna buy from a private owner is take it to a mechanic and make sure everything is checked over. but before you do that make sure you ask the person if they are willing to take less to be able to make up for some repairs needed. because i took one to a repair and the dude had lots of problems and wasn't willing to take any less and there goes $120 for nothing.

nice man, i bought mine almost exactly one year ago its an 05 in amazing shape. i don't regret buying it one bit. make sure you take good care of it and be safe, its fast car you don't need to prove it. If you plan on speeding make sure you atleast do it in a safe manner and always wear a seat belt.

I'm 19, and i bought my 05 with 25K miles at 18. lots of young users on here now it seems.

The differential bushing is located in the subframe I believe.
