Towing a g35

Would there be any damages to the engine or transmission or differentials if a tow truck operator towed a g35 coupe with the rear wheels down? The car is a 6 speed

Chris, if you gotta be towed have them use a flat bed and then keep an eye on them to make sure your ride is tied down tight. A member on another forum had his Z dropped off a flat because it wasn't secure....the tow company's insurance company hated that one....

If you need something to take to court and prove to a judge, mediator, etc. what damage is possible, you need to go to any reputable mechanic or infiniti dealership and have them explain the consequences in writing.

Getting opinions on an internet forum isn't going to pull much weight.

i had my car towed last saturday. I had CAA membership (canadian equivalent to AAA). I specifically asked for a flatbed. it's 25 dollar extra charge but that's worth every dollar. Even flatbeds can damage your car since it's low. I will never get it towed on a regular tow truck even if that means waiting an hour more... :S

Plain and simple your transmission and other life needed components can be damaged.

This thread and the O.P.'s previous thread on this subject is looking pretty fishy.
He was having it towed to the shop when the radiator blew? It should have made it to the shop by now, and there should be a pretty accurate assessment of the damages. Is he just pumping us for a clean-up story after he tore up his daddy's car or what?

Tell them you want flat bed.. Make sure they hook the security harness underneath the ;drivers side wheel (so our car won't roll down in case of sudden acceleration).. they should have two harness but when they towed my car before the driver of the truck told me our car only have one tow hook harness and its only located underneath the driver side wheel. (unless your tow hook is installed). And put ur Ebrake on..

just my cent.
