If you have full coverage, why do you need to hire an attorney? Also, I thought uninsured motorists is only available on a "liability" coverage.

And Uninsured Motorists only cover up to 5k in damage.

If you have full coverage you should be covered under collision.

I guess if the other person had no insurance and not a US citizen they your just up the sheit creek without a paddle... Sorry to hear of your dilemma .

Your reading too deep. I think the OP meant more of the fact that the other driver was not a US citizen, and thats why they were just getting a $200 fine. Had they been a US citizen, the penalty would had probably been much worse.

For the record, I'm not Mexican, but just somebody that respect people, and hate when a few are force to represent many.. "Mexican" should not be the term to represent non-US citizenship - Anyway - this is not the forum for this topic...
