urban, try DHL or FedEx. DHL is probably the cheapest.
I'm gonna weigh the wheel in just a bit (unless I suddenly get extremely lazy after I type this post), but I still stick to 18lbs just because these rims retail for $832 each. For 830 freaking dollars, they BETTER weigh sub-20lbs!

Even the Volks are 19 lbs. If you want 18 or less you have to go to the Gram Lights, or something Magnesium. I belive the Nismo's (the aluminum version) might be 18 but I'm pretty sure they are 19 lbs. Keep in mind they are 8.5 and 9.5 wide compared to our stockers at 8.0 wide.
The actual value of our wheels is currently about $200 apiece for as low as 20 miles on them, if you go by the free market system (ebay) rather than Nissan retail pricing. I

Okay, if anyone cares, I just put it on the scale the wheel weighs 25lbs. =(
It sucks that people are only paying $200 a piece for the wheels, but they have a right to. It's not like the wheels are particularly light, and they scratch pretty easily. The only good part about the wheels is that they look great and they don't have a lip so you don't have to worry about those damn potholes and stuff ruining the wheels !!!
So now I'm stuck with this crapped up rim that has almost no value to it. I'm better off just keeping it in my garage than trying to sell it on eBay, I think.

I knew the stock 18's weighed 25 lbs. I was very meticulous when I chose my aftermarket BBS RGRs, which weigh 18lbs. I'm not too sure about the Volks weighing 19 lbs though. The 19" RGRs in 9.5 width weigh 20 lbs, so how can the Volks which have forged spokes and cast/spun outers weigh less than a fully forged wheel? The answer I got from most vendors on the 19" Volks GT7s were about 23-24lbs which is neglible when you add heavier 19" tires. Usually folks that go for looks get the 19s, while those who want to shave unsprung weight go for 18s.

Sorry, I'm referring to the 18" TE and CE Volks. The 19"s are just a pound or so heavier according to 2 different vendors I've talked to. But yeah, I'm into speed so it's 18"s for me...as soon as I can make my stock tires bald, it's Nismos for me.

It just so happens I sold my wheels and tires on ebay yesterday, I got 1,426 for the package and I also have a local guy who wants them too for the same price so 200 a wheel is close.

If memory serves, the weight of the front OEM 18" wheel/tire is 48lbs., and rear is 50lbs.
That makes the 225's- 23lbs, and the 245's- 25lbs.

Weird... I got 49.0 front and 48.5 rear for the stock tires and rims with 10,600 miles on them. I'd assume that they are heavier than what Collin posted unless my scale is just slightly off? Anyone know for sure?

Yes, the rear tires on my car were wearing like crazy. I was hoping to know how much a new tire by itself weighed and I'd add the 24-25 lbs for the rim to get an over all weight. This way I'd know how much heavier my PIAA's are. I guess it really doesn't matter much, as I'm not taking them off no matter how much heavier they are [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img], but it would still be nice to have a good number to throw around for discussion purposes.

I think you're right Colin. Those numbers sound about right, if I recall correctly. The Pilots are very light tires. http://www.edgeracing.com lists their tire weights but they don't sell the Pilots.

Any1 Care 4 Stock Wheel Weight?
Hey,
After my accident, I have my stock 18" rim in the garage. Anybody care to know how much it weighs? I'm going to put it on a scale tomororw and I was just curious of who cares how much it weighs. For $830 MSRP, I'm going to gues it weighs a seksy 18lbs. What do you guys think?
