Bringing this thread back fr the dead.

I’m having the same issues for a few months now. Usually at a stop putting the car in 1st, and especially after driving for about 30mins or more. Changed the trans fluid to the recommended fluid a couple of weeks ago but still the same. My thoughts are worn snycro’s?

when the car is cold after just starting to drive, it doesn’t happen. Only after about 20-30mins of stop-n-go traffic. It does this with usually the 1st and 2nd gear since those are the ones used in daily driving.

2005G With 150K miles, and the car is never driven hard. can the syncros be changed or do I might as well swap a newer tranny?

It's a 6speed manual sedan base model with some bolt ons
Throw out bearing

Does your transmission have a rattling sound when the car is in neutral only if it does then the shifting issue is your throw out bearing mine started doing the same thing and then after driving it a few more months it became putting it in any gear at a stop so I been putting it in 5th gear the in synchronized gear and then first and it goes right in but eventually you’ll need to replace that
