Purolator Pure One filters man... get em at Advance Auto. They're on sale right now for $5 each, and you can buy like 4 or 5 of them online and bundle it with a coupon code to get another $10 off the purchase, and do in-store pickup so you don't have to pay shipping.

I think it comes out to like $3 each per filter if you take advantage of this special.

Oh.. by the way, Purolator Pure One oil filters and Mobil One filters are the best filters that you can buy out there off the shelf of a store without having to order them online. Purolators are the best for the money because they cost about half of what the Mobil one's go for.... and yeah, ditch the crappy Fram.

I'd also recommend going with a slightly larger than stock oil filter for your car. Our stock sized oil filters are real tiny.

PL14610 is the filter number of the next size up Purolator oil filter that fits our cars and has the same dynamics in terms of thread pitch and bypass valve pressure.... that's what I use on my G35.

^ why would you compare a cheap filter to a expensive filter. and say dont buy the expensive one when you also recommend it at the same time lol

mobile 1 and k&n are the exact sane filter inside.

Because that 'cheap' filter PureOne is actually a great filter for the price. It is highly ranked among the others.

metal endcaps, Micro Filtration, more pleats, silicone drainback valve, and ptfe treated gasket.

I have no idea what you're talking about. All I'm saying is that the Purolator Pure One filters and Mobil One filters offer pretty much the same filtration and quality from a filter, but the Mobil one filters cost about twice as much. The Pure One filters are a better deal for the money. For the price of the Fram or less, you can have the no-questions-asked, all-around superior Purolator Pure One filter.

Personally i like the K and N simply for the screw attachment on the end. Makes getting the filter off your car simple.

Purolator PureOne PL14610 FTW. I use the same filter for all three of my cars, two subies and a G.. I buy 'em from Amazon. Good deal and usually free shipping.

Metal end caps and anti-drainback valves. Good oil pressure readings and great filtration results as reported on Bobistheoilguy site by many independant users. I'm sure Wix and K&N are good as well but I've found the Purolator's to be a best buy.

As for WIX? don't know where I would even get one locally, but I have cut open a Fram and an original Honda filter before and they are EXACTLY the same. That tells me that they meet the Mfg standards of the particular Honda engineering.
You've got a WIX filter and don't know it. If you look at the box that the CarQuest R85365 filter comes in, you'll see that it's made by none other than WIX Filtration Inc. of Gastonia NC.

The Pure one filters are the best, I was having really rough starts and a lot of noise on startup when running fram and letting the car sit for a week or more before Cranking. Im gessing it is the bad/no drainback but all my troubles are solved. PureOne FTW!
