Yup me too i came from a 99 Accord 4 banger but the 2.3L V 5 Spd so for me the G is a big difference! I use to have a Built 96 Mustang G.T I get my license suspended about 5 times when i had that car, it was fun..I think my G has just as much power as my G.T use to have but its stock n cops don't pay as much attention.

I can do 100+ when ever i want I think that my G has more power then most Stock G's yea im stock too

Mine is an auto sedan, and it's a little modded, but it seems to be faster than most (14.006@100.39).

I think it's slow. It needs more power, or at least the Transgo VB kit (which it will get). It's "quick", but not fast, and stock it was a bit inadequate.

It seems like the average time for these cars are 13-15secs on the 1/4 mile. 13secs is a little impressive but i would like to see at least 12 secs for me.

Good

I love the G35. The engine in my '04 6MT Coupe is pretty perfect for a luxury GT.

But this pig pushes on the Earth with too much force. It's just way too heavy.

The VQ35 is one of the world's best engines. It's just stuck in a very typically overweight Nissan. It's safe, it's beautiful, it's quick, but she is a big girl.

P.s. I am new to the party. Just got mine in August. I love it.

It might give you problems the auto transmission won't be able to handle the power

i like how the G responds when im crusing in 3rd gear at about 50mph, and i suddenly floor it. It still jerks me back into my seat and i get a mild sense of euphoria.. =)

I know the limitations on the tranny. I'm only going to have it tuned to around 400wtq until I throw a built tranny on. The engine is already being rebuilt and I have the supporting mods (except a built tranny) to withstand more power. My goal eventually is 500+whp.

I surely intend to hit up the tracks when I get back.

G is okay, quick for its weight, but not fast.
Been in fast cars. When I go back to my G, They make me feel like im driving a Metro Geo.

800+whp cobra with weight reduction, 6th gear pulls 30 times harder then my 1st. lol

Well after driving my cousins chipped 335i, it makes the G feels super sluggishly slow.

I drive my G daily and it feels quick, until I get back in the SRT8.

The G has decent performance, but it's far from fast.
