Just logging in for the first time. Purchasing today after work.
For anyone thinking of buying and are waiting for the 05, here is something to consider.
My local dealer has about 20 '04 coupes on the lot. I looked at purchasing about 6 months ago and decided to wait for the 05. The other day I got a hair up my daryair and called to see what they were doing to move the 04s in stock. The salesman I had talked to no longer works there so my call was directed to the sales manager. OVER THE PHONE he told me he'd take $2500 off any coupe sticker. We've talked twice since then and I'm going in tonight to make my final deal. This is how it is shaping up. Ivory 6mt with premium and aero listed for 36360. My trade has a Kelly Blue book trade value of $7200 - damn 2003 neons don't hold value worth *%#! - listed for $17,100 new - paid $12,600 with rebait. Anyway, sound like we are coming to terms for a trade difference of $25,500. That's $33860 for the coupe and them giving me $8360 for mine. I think that is probably a really good deal on a 6mt. Any comments? I guess my point is, if your considering a purchase - consider a discounted 04.

 

I got my 2005 for $875 over invoice which is about $2500 off sticker for a 2005... so i'm sure you should be able to get that 2004 coupe for Invoice at least... but thats'a good deal nontheless... at least they're giving you more on your trade in...

I think it all comes down to how much you want to pay and if the 2005 changes are worth it to you...
