This is probably one of the only times owning a black car is a real plus. They are a pain in the butt to maintain but, if you need a repaint black is very easy to match. I recently had my front bumper cover painted, one front fender and the passenger's side mirror and you really can't tell the difference. My car is garage kept and the paint is in great shape. That probably helps.

yeah, unfortunately DG is just one of those colors that's a pain.. i talked to the guy, he said he'd be able to get me a really good match, the only difference is that it will look more shiny because of the new clearcoat on it, but after a little while you can put some compound on the clearcoat to make it look a bit more dull to match the rest of the car's paint. and he's gonna get me the phone number to a guy that does paintless dent repair, so i can get all my dents fixed without getting the whole car repainted!

I just had to have my drivers side fender and door repainted after being repaired...you can definitely tell it was done if you have the right eye. Most people wouldnt know unless I pointed it out but I can definitely see it, as can people who know I had it repaired...and it was done by a guy who paints and repairs Maserati's for a living. Any silver/grey/white is REALLY hard to match to the rest of the car.
