Why does the passenger window roll down everytime i close the door or lock the car???
^haha. I just got my G and noticed the windows roll down a tiny bit and back up when you get out of the car...is it not supposed to do that? lolz...this cars windows are driving me crazy already!!! wtf infiniti! lolol
yea they do that..... idk bout roll down but mine go up so water doesnt leak in the car.
If I remember correctly, they're supposed to do that so that air pressure doesn't get built up and push against the windows when you close or open the door. All newer cars/higher brand named cars feature this.

It rolls down so it doesn't hit the top door frame. If you open the door, you'll notice its a frameless window. If it didn't roll down, it would smack the top of the door. You don't see that "rolldown" on framed windows, which is on most cars.
Late model Mustangs have the same system.
Your window regulator needs to be reset..>>>>>>>http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gcou..._procedure.htm
In theory this makes sense, but in practice, it's not gonna happen. I was recently concerned about this when my window motor stopped working. I wound the window all the way up manually and closed the door. Then I disconnected the motor harness. The glass has more than enough clearance!
my window does the same thing, everytime i open the passenger window it drops down alot and stays down...and if i have the door open the window does not operate at all..i have to have the door closed to make the passenger window close or open...and its not the switch bcus i changed it recently...any ideas? sorry for stealing ur thread OP...
