Asking for us to link you to a build thread....FAIL, SEARCH! Why do all newbs expect to be handed everything on the forums on a gold platter?

Bottom line, the G is a pig of a car, good luck if you do choose it as your primary drift car.
100% agreed

Wait, does automatic G35 comes with LSD?

Some models do. Mine has the sport package and came with the 3.5FD with LSD.

Wow some people are really close minded. I think weather a build is "worth" it or not should be upto the person spending the money. The chassis is more than capable. In fact, I'd dare call it excellent for drifting application. That being said. Trying to build an automatic drift car is just silly.

Car is very capable, but you bought the wrong car. You need a manual tranny. The conversion even if you do it yourself will cost an arm and a leg. I have looked into it. Plus to really setup a G you will have to do a lot of work with suspension components and the rim size is going to make for some expensive tires. goodluck OP, but I would do my research prior to posting silly threads.

I wouldn't call it close minded..this guy wants to do a conversion from 5At to 6mt which is expensive and not easy. You're better off buying a 6MT g35 and selling to 5at. But with all the suspension work you have to go through and the wheel and tire setup, you might as well buy a 240sx which is good for drifting and putting your money into that. Rather than making a luxury sports coupe into a drifter.

Gs are great for drifting… i favor them over the 350zs because of the longer wheel base… they are more predictable, but they are a bit more heavy. Manual transmission is a must if you want to have any form of control over your slide
