drifting the g35
ive been thinking of drifting my 03 g35. its auto though so i plan on doing a 6mt swap. and ofcoarse all the essentials to build a drift car, just wondering if anyone has drifted the g35. if so please direct me to a build or thread. thanks
Theres alot of body roll. I go with my z buddies and they dont have it like we do but you can def have some fun in it
. I would suggest aftermarket suspension and your good to go!

I've drifted a lot of cars, the z had a lot of body roll until he got some teins, I messed around with the G. Its gna need a lot of footwork done.(Suspension) I'm seriously thinking the G could replace the love I have for the s chassis.

How much do 6MT swaps cost? Wouldn't it be better to sell the auto and pick up a 6MT? Or is that not an option.
There's a guy with a 350z that drifts it and its bone stock I believe.

This thread FAILS
Starting with an auto and wanting to swap to 6mt.... FAIL, start with the right setup instead of wasting money you could use elsewhere on the build
You say youve drifted many cars, including a Z, but want to know how to set up a G....FAIL
Asking for us to link you to a build thread....FAIL, SEARCH! Why do all newbs expect to be handed everything on the forums on a gold platter?
Bottom line, the G is a pig of a car, good luck if you do choose it as your primary drift car.

Go for it, have fun with it. It's a car, it can be drifted. Manual swap? It's doable but do your research first. After that you're going to want some good coilvers, sway bars, strut braces and anything else you can think of to stiffen up the body up to, and possibly including, a cage depending on how involved you want to get.
But yeah, search, as Mulder would say, The truth is out there.
