windshield wiper help

My windshield wiper is driving me nuts with the heavy rain in CA right now.
it has two issues:

1. wipers are skipping/ jumping while it is swiping

2. when it is down, the driver side wiper is actually hitting on the arm of passanger side. I thought maybe 24" (what application booklet suggested) is too long, so i change to 22". does not help. it is more like the passager wiper could have either raise up 3mm to clear the driver side wiper or the driver side wiper shouldn't rest that close to the passanger side wiper. does anyone here has same issue? if so, how do u fix it?

I saw #1 was associated with a TSB but it was for 03 sedan (i have 03 coupe, production at 02 Nov). Will dealer fix it for free or does anyone know how much would it cost to fix the issue?

thanks

The windshield wipers on our G35s are different sizes left & right, one side is smaller. Drop by Riverside Infiniti and talk to parts, they'll fix your issue. If the wipers are skipping it may be a dirty windshield (clay it) or worn out wipers along with being the wong size. lol

When to riverside dealer today, Ben, the rude service adviser was not really helpful just told me to get a new wiper or set up appointment to check and repair. He said he never heard windshield wiper problems and could not find the TSB

Brought brand new wipers from them and 24" blade end is still hitting on the 17" arm. the jumping behavior had improved. btw they sell windshield wipers for $13 each + tax with G35 driver discount (other wise is $19 each i think)

Loosen the bolt holding the wiper, rotate it a bit, tighten it back.

Odd. Is it that the driver side wiper is going too far down? Or that the passenger side wiper is sitting too far up?

Mine was doing the same, chattering, but only in moderate to heavy rain. Otherwise, they work fine and are silent.
