Before I found my '05 I went and looked at it... it was nice but way to many miles. If that guy is still wanting your car and you think you're gonna sell it you need to jump on that, because I have a feeling you won't find too many others willing to pay that for 80k+ miles on the car.
it's almost impossible to find an 03 in Ivory Pearl white with black leather interior with Brembo package and wingless since i can't stand the look of the stock wing. Not to mention that mine is in FLAWLESSS condition. I could of got an 05+ model with less miles for the same price as my 03 but didn't have the specs i wanted. Also i don't like the 05+ taillights. There are plenty of buyers who will pay $14k+ for my car if i wanted to sell it. I don't know why people think 80k miles is high, to me i think it is extremely low miles still, i drive at least 60k+ miles per year. When i was looking for the G, i specifically wanted one with at least over 65k miles and under 100k on it. When i had my 350z i put 30k miles in less than 3 month of owning it.

I am not trying to be a smarta**. I would really like to know why a number of G35 owners are so enamored of the LEXUS IS 350. It has 306hp and after checking several sources for 0-60 times it is about as fast as a 2003 G35 coupe. Some post the G35 quicker some the Lexus but we are talking about .2 seconds either way. Even the 2011 has 306 horsepower against the G37s 330hp. It's a four door sedan. You guy's would prefer to drive a four door sedan over either of the Infiniti coupes 35 or 37. Please explain.

You are right that the 2011 has 306hp, but even with only 306hp, it is still quicker than the 330hp that the G37 has. The reason why i like the IS350 is that it hold its value unlike the G and it is VERY nice looking, probably one of the best looking 4 dr. car.

I don't know where you're getting your performance numbers. The 0-60 time posted on the Lexus site for the 350 is 5.6. The posted 0-60 time on the G37 on C&D is 5.3 seconds. The G is faster. The posted time on a 2003 G35 coupe (the car you own) is 5.85 seconds that's .25 seconds slower that the 350. Looks are completely subjective. Resale values in this economy are a crap shoot at best. You've got someone willing to pay $15,000 for an 03 with 80K miles. Just checked Autotrader for 2009 G37s and 2009 IS 350s resale values are about the same.

C&D times are not very accurate IMO. I agree with you on the prices compare to 2009 g37 and 2009 is350, but if you compared the avearge price of an 2006 G35(around $16k) and an 2006 is350($22k) that's is a BIG difference. I've driven both the is350s and G37s and i like the is350 overall. Don't get me wrong, G's are great cars and sound much better than the is350 stock form, in matter of fact i think the G's stock exhaust sounds incredibly good for stock. But the looks of the is350 is just more appealing to me....and it's a sedan, i've never been a fan of any sedans until the is350 came out.

the is350 is a better luxury car and the g35 is a better sports car. The interior of the is350 is little bit nicer then the g35 but i think the g35 has better performance.

I would just keep the g35 and save more and get a gs350. The interior of the gs350 is light years better then the is350.

As for the is250, dont even think about touch that car. There known to have valve tapping issues even at low mileage.

I did not only check C&D I checked other sources and the C&D number is accurate. Why would C&D have a reason to lie. The Autotrader prices on the 2006 G35 and 2006 IS 350 are also about identical. These are the retail prices from the dealers. I'm not arguing with you. I'm just checking the facts. Now, the question is why with everything you stated above did you buy the G35. Again, I am not hassling you. I am just curious.

no biggie, and to answer ur question i actually had a choice to get an white 06 is350 with the same milage and condition as the G35. the reason why i turn down the is350 was cuz it had tan interior which i would never get. Only black interior for me. Also the price was $18,800 for the is350 which and for my G35 it was $12k flat. I saved $6800 which i rather use to travel. BTW, i just checked craigslist for my area, there are only 2 is350 for sale by owner and both are over $20k, the ones from the dealer are going for $26k+. For the G35's, there are tons and most are around $12k-$17 and that's including dealers.
