Just wanted to introduce myself. Recently picked up an 03 G35 coupe with 80k miles. Didn't want the 05+ models since they are known to have engine failure and no Brembo's package available. Used to own a 350z but hated it(no trunk space, and no rear seats) and sold it for an 02 E46 M3. Love the M3 but maintenance was too costly so i ended up selling it. Anyways, owned the G35 for a lil over a month now and the only problem i had was the radio/climate control which was a common problem with 03-04 models but was solved with an aftermarket deck. Only mod i plan to do is add an OEM front lip and that's it.

Nice pick up - IP with black interior is incredibly rare and looks sweet!

However if you are going to rock the Infiniti Badge - you shouldn't rock the Skyline.

If you want the Skyline you probably need to switch to the Nissan badge (or badgeless) or else you just look confused.

Good pick up. The badges makes no sense. Also, check your sparkplugs for oil. It's an 03, chances are the previous owner didn't replace the valve covers that are probably leaking oil onto the plugs by now.

Check your #6 plugs first. They are usually the first to show oil.

lol, thanks.....i'm actually thinking of selling it for an is350 which i like more, but i just spent $700 on the new navi system last week. Still debating since is350 only comes in auto with paddle shifter. Also an used is350 go for about $22k and the most i can get from the G is $16k, someone offer me $15k but i turned it down.....kinda regret it now

 

IS350 is a very nice car. Can't go wrong with that choice. Gotta weigh your options now and see if it's worth it. Give the G some time and decide afterwards if you're not in a rush.
