Hi guys I bought my car in November of 2010 the dealer offered me extended warranty but at the time I could not afford it. I was wondering since I'm the second owner could I buy an extended warranty right before it is over in April this year? They quoted me somewhere around $2700 I think is that good? for an extra 30K miles and 3 year.

 

I think you can put the extend warranty on anytime before you go over. Idk if there is a standard rate on the warranties maybe try a few dealerships to see if the price differs.

 

Thank you but do you know if I can get is because I'm not the original owner? with my BMW they would not let me they said only the first owner can do that

 

That one i couldnt tell you because mine had it when i bought it. I know that i have put claims in under the warranty though and they didnt even know my name. I think it goes by the vin and not the owner on infiniti's. Hopefully someone else will chime in. If not just give the dealer a call tomorrow and ask.

yeah i am second owner on my car. And the warranty is based off of the Vin not who bought the car 1st. you should check the motor oil consumption issue on your car. other than that the 07 models didn't have that many issues.
