To Get Your G to where you want it - How Long?

Was just wondering the average time it takes to get your G completely Mod out?

I've done the exhaust and ztube, doing supercharger, body/wheels next (haven't figure out the order yet), and then maybe the audio.. I'm not tracking just want a nice daily ride that's impressive as some I've seen here..

What order did you do your Mods? I also lack the time and ability to do the work myself, (I just drive it) so everything I get done, I will have somebody do for me..

Lastly what's the total spent? I'm looking at about 20K, without counting the audio..

I guess you got a point...You guys are a lot more serious than I. Just the things I mentioned.

I'm not a trust-fund baby so all the work have to be done in 3-6k parts - the place I get my work done has a 90 day same as cash...and I need all 90 to pay it off..lol

It's an addiction, it will never stop.

Maybe when you get married and your wife forces you to sell the car to buy a minivan ;-)

Married? HaHa - been married 20 years - going thru mid-life crisis - If I can get my daughter to pay her way to college, I can get everything done this year... I'd get rid of my wife before the G..

+1 on that. I've spent about 4K and will probably spend at least another 2K this year. Still the "best bang for the buck" for me. Luvs my G.

Modding will never end. I have been modding mine for 3.5 years now with a ton of money spent and no end in sight. You can always find things to change up on the car. Even the most highly modified Gs aren't done modding yet.

When you decide you've finished modding and you're forever done is when you write off the car and have to buy a new one.

I predict 3 years for me. It's been two years already and the only things left that I want are F.I., and a full paint job. I'd rather not calculate how much money I've spent so far, lol, but I know it's over 20k . I blame this forum.

3 years? I don't have that kind of patience...Adding something new just makes me want to add something else...feel like I'm on crack...and don't let me see somebody with what I want...This forum is definitely the cause. The guy that does my work says to stay off the forums..now I know why..that and the fact he disagrees with a alot of info I bring to him from here..

I got everything in 2 weeks then car spent 2 weeks in shop and we were done ... Now i got recently got TWICE as much stuff... Car is getting a completely new look for summer ... Cant wait to get everything done... Shouldint take more than 3 or 4 weeks to get it all put together.
