noise at less than 10 mph???

ive got a squeak or some kind of noise at low speed, at first i thought it was the throwout bearing because it sounds like a "rotational" noise. had no luck searching. the noise will sound faster untill i get around 10mph, curious if anyone has any insight. maybe it is the throwout?

I bought my G35 used and had a similar problem at low speeds and while breaking. If you are noticing any vibrations when braking or at low speeds you may have warped front rotors. In my case I installed snazzy new vented rotors and the problem was gone for not much $$.

check your brakes they might be getting low the feeler could be just starting to touch. it wont be your throwout bearing because that goes swith engine speed not wheel speed. it would have to be something to do with wheels brakes axles or driveshaft.

the car drives like normal, no shaking or vibration. doesnt sound like its coming from the brakes.

a belt or pulley would also be at engine rpm shouldn't matter how many mph he is going. and if your brakes were starting to get low you would have shaking or vibration or any major problems, theres just these little metal tabs attatched to the pads that start squeeking when the brakes get low to warn you so you dont just go metal on metal all of a sudden

whatever it is its not affecting anything so ill just press on. if its brakes ill throw some stoptechs and hawk pads on it and call it a day.

Higher speeds would put more tension on belts tightening them up.

If it's kind of a jingling sound, it's your pulleys. Had mine replaced and the noise has been gone ever since.

Noises are a bitch to locate along with being a nightmare! Check your brakes for pad wear. I can tell you what it's not, if your calipers were warped you'd feel it when you hit the brake pedal by the steering wheel vibrating/jerking a lot....as you can tell I've been there.
