Googled it, and searched the forum but i cant seem to find the answer to my particular problem. so just a couple weeks back i got all my windows tinted at a shop near where i lived and they look beautiful btw.

anyways I noticed like a week back that my driver side window does not do the auto-up feature that it used to, and i think it was sometime around the window tinting. so as you know this is very inconvenient because
a) the auto-headlights dont turn off by themselves anymore
b) the dome-light doesnt come on when i open the door

anybody know what the problem is?!?!
im hoping i would just have to do a window reset that ive been hearing about and that would solve the problem.. anybody have this problem and fixed it?

yea you could just reset it if you google around you can figure it out i know how to do it but dont know how to explain it to you but all it has done has lost memory

 

oh yea sorry one more thing with the window is the auto up featue can usly bee fixed by program but it wont affect the headlights or dome so you might have the door switch messed up like disconected ur shorted or bcm problems but check the other door if the other door has the auto up function working its not the bcm

 

yeah passenger side is fine and works perfectly. the stealership said that programming a door would be around 62.50! freaking 60 bucks just to program a door. so im hoping just the reset would fix it..

 

Check and make sure there is nothing blocking the sensors on the dash for auto light.

 

just check the door switch cause being the auto up function not working will not cause your other problems

 

Yeah i know, its not that the auto-up feature causes other problems, i think that the auto-up and down tells the car if the door is open or closed though. and because its not working, the car doesnt know when the door is open or closed. if thats confusing sorry..
