It's the oil filter. My friend told me. He knows about cars and I don't. I've been getting the regular oil changes but I've never changed the filter yet. Time to stop by Kragen, then I bring the car back to the oil changer guys and tell them to redo oil change and change filter? They recently kinda changed the oil too and I still have more mileage to go but whatever.

Wow. For that price im going to assume you have a fram or some other paper filter. The mileage and quality of oil and filter determines the amount of time between changes. You get what you pay for and I would be using synthetic in any car that is worth anything to you. I would recommend changing the filter with every oil change.
Btw I use a K&N gold filter on mine. Its usually about 15 for the filter and around 30-40 dollars for the oil.
