Hey guys! I'm new to the site, and I know nothing - nothing! - about cars. But I'd like to learn! My bf has a G35, which he loves more than life itself. I was wondering if you most wise car gods (and goddesses) might have any suggestions on:
a) things I should know when dating a G35 addict
b) things I could do to pleasantly surprise my addict (when he has been good), including possible gift ideas that relate to the car.

Any advice or assistance would be enormously appreciated!

before we can answer those questions we need to see some pictures of you with the G35

 

Damn another G35 member with my attitude....^....to begin don't ever eat or drink inside his ride even if he says it's alright. He might be suprised if when weather permits you help him wash his coupe. Buying him a gift for his birthday or Christmas, ask him what his plans are and contribute thru gift cards or order it thru our Marketplace.
I consider you one of the best girl friends any guy could ever have!

Be supportive and take an interest in his hobby, which it seems you already are doing, and try not to take it personally if you feel he spends more time on the car than you.

As far as gifts that are car related, let us know if your BF is into performance, the way the car looks, etc. Essentially what does he want to do with it.

Pictures are a bit difficult because he doesn't know I'm here, and I'm not sure how I would arrange a photo shoot involving myself and his car without him noticing... But this is a very nice idea otherwise, boys.

Um, what are JDM clear corners? He already has interesting-looking lights... They're a bit bluish / purplish (?) and might be LED's. They don't look like ordinary lights, anyway.

Performance vs. looks... Well... I think he's happy with the way it performs, so I imagine he'd be more interested in exterior appearance than what's under the hood (typical guy, eh?). But he also likes interior gadgets - he has a touchscreen GPS thing (sorry...) and likes it very much.

Great idea about helping with a car wash! Will do in the spring!

lol nismo front bumper or some sort of body kit piece would be a great start. thats what my girl got me for christmas. somehow get a photoshoot with you and the car...im sure he would love to see prints of that as a surprise gift. just ask for stuff he's planning on doing or getting and get it! lol you seem alot like my girl only she thinks i love my car more than her
