hoping someone could inform me on the use of Crystal Guard on my 04 twilight blue coupe. Does it matter that I had the teflon coat put on at purchase? What would be the best at this point? thanks in advance!

Teflon coat? Teflon coat of what???
If you want to CG your car, just wash it with Dawn dish soap to give the car a deep clean and to get rid of any current wax on the car. During the rinse process (assuming you're using CG Quick) is the time to apply the stuff.
