I went on Saturday to purchase a G35 and managed to get it dropped to 33200, i told him that i needed a purchase order to take to my credit union to finance the G. Well first they told me its against company policy to give out pruchase orders. First of thats BS. I work at the credit union as a loan rep and it is a requirement to have a p/o. I have closed loans from all types of dealers. First time i ever hear that. So finally he agreed to "fax " one to my bank. He didnt even let me see it. Then today since i work at the bank i check and no p/o. Well i call he told me he would fax it in 10 mins. 2hrs later i call and he tells me that he probably isnt going to close on the deal since sat was close to the ending of the month. So this is the biggest b/s i have ever seen. They want to stick the car for about 36kl now.. WTF IS THAT! thats not how u do business. There are con artist. They didnt even want to show me the damn purchase order! i needed to vent!!!!!!!!!!!111 i would have been in my G already if it wasnt for these morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

oh yea the car was a new 04 6mt white with black interior aero and premium package.

 

if a dealer reneges on a deal, is there a course of action that the customer can follow to get that quoted price? any lawyers out there?

 

Wow, sorry to hear about your bad experience. This is a 2004 which should be discounted heavily right now. I think he probably sold it to someone else for higher and is trying to see if you can beat the other guys offer. They are all a bunch of stealer if you ask me.

That paperwork, is it the P O which lists out the car, options, tax, tags and doc fee? If so did you sign it. And if you did you have a legal write to this paper that you signed. Its just a buyer/seller agreement, usually binding only that day (laws may vary in different states).

I agree with Diamond! The field day is over for the high prices on G35s.. Coupes and Sedans.. There is a saturation on the market for these cars and you can get $500-$800 over invoice for most Coupes and certainly even better on sedans.. Do your homework and shop around.. Who was the salesman in Coconut Creek? I go there for service and they treat me like gold! However.. there is an unbelieveable turnover of salesman at this dealership because it is only one year old!

Aside from the market slowing down on the cars, im trying to say that people who live up north arent going to be buying these cars now, just to put new tires and rims on them since winter is on its way. i was told from the guy i bought it from that they were wanting to discount them so much because come the end of october, noone's gunna want a coupe, just something like the X sedan for winter. I dont know what your looking for exactly but i know you will never find a deal in south florida to many people around here willing to pay whatever so there not gunna discount you at all someone will just walk in and buy it for what they want for it

I'm afraid you have one too many zeros on your Bush tax cut figure, the average middle class family - those making less than $73,000 - received $350 NOT $3,500...........I won't comment further on what that does to the rest of your equation.
