spray farther back with a sweeping motion, dont be afraid to color out side the boundries, thin coats add up

Spray farther back. Make sure you are not spraying in cold weather.

Yea, the farther you spray back the more uniform it's likely to be. The more time you take doing something like this, the more likely it is to come out nicer.

I can tell that you forgot to clean the grill after sanding. You have to properly clean it to remove the sanding residue with a lint free cloth.

Do several light coats and wait for it to dry before spraying more coats on top.

If you had to wait for a warm day this time of the year in San Fran you'll be old/bald and wearing diapers.... Only possible way would be inside a closed garage and remember "Less is Better" 12" away and don't load up what you're painting. One light coat of primer, two light coats of paint and a couple coats of clear to help prevent chipping....how's that workin for ya?

wax and grease remover liquid you need!!!! Before you paint plus some 1200-1500 wet rub paper in between coasts and then 3000 just before the clear

You are doing one or more of the following, not degreasing (spirit wipe) spraying incompatible primer, not leaving the paint to flash off between coats, and or applying to heavy.

everything
Looks like your primer and paint are reacting. Same kind of paint?

Like everyone else said... spraying too close and too heavy is probably the culprit.

Flash time could also be wrong. There's more to painting than just pushing the top down on a spray can.

Spray about 2 feet away. And light coats. As in, don't worry if you can still see the layer below. It will eventually get covered.

I screwed up my first time as well. The weather was a bit cold and i sprayed too many coats. try to only spray like 3 coats and you should be fine. I don't think you need more than one coat of primer.

Start off with a 300 grit, 400, all the way up to 1,000 grit wet sand. 3 coats of primer , paint and clear.
