Body shops change these daily. For any who have bought a used G, there is a chance that yours has been replaced. If installed correctly, there is no difference from the factory. They screw them in place at the factory also, they don't appear by magic. Just go to a reputable body shop and get them to help. Many will tell you the best place to get a replacement in your area. They can replace it in just a few minutes. It is not a big deal and it is not unsafe.

i think i have an airbag for you. it was never deployed and never in an accident i just switched my interior from tan over to black so i have it sitting. it isn't the airbag that gets reset, its the control module. i dont know how they do it but you can google it and find someone who will do it....actually as i am writing this i looked down and saw the add at the bottom. apparently its $49 from myairbags.com lol how convenient
