A very frustrating problem.....

Hi guy's, I've been dealing with tranny problems for a while. First it was the Revolution sensor ($225), and a day after installing it, I found out the trans Valve body (TCM) had to be changed ($1500). For my freaking luck, they put the new TCM, fired it up and ran nicely, until the red light where it shutdown again, and sticking into 3rd gear with the check engine light up once more. When my mechanic tested out, now its reading High Voltage problems. Has ANYONE had this problem before??? I have a 03 coupe w/auto trans. The car has 47,500 miles on it and i ell taken care off. I really am hit the wal with this one. Now they're checking the CPU to see if its busted.

I REALLY need any advice on this guys or Im gona put a For sale sign on it because this prob is driving me crazy.

Thanks

My mechanic of some time now. When it first started, the tranny was stuck in 3rd gear and it wouldn't move from there. When I took it for the 1st time the error code was pointing at the revolution sensor and a O2 sensor on the exhaust. I bought the rev sensor and he installed it. (didn't change the o2 sensor). That same day when a took it for a test drive, it still was stuck in 3rd gear. He checked it with the scanner and a error code appeared pointing to 2 solenoids in the trans TCM. Left it in the shop for 2 weeks until the TCM araived and whe he finished installing it, drove it and had no problems until he stopped in a red light, and the check engine light came up, and was stuck in the 3rd gear once more. He scanned it AGAIN, and now it reads high voltage problems (dont know the code cause I wasnt there).

My ????? is, might the o2 sensor have anything to do with it? I've heard this cars having safety mechanisms when sensors are going bad, but didn't put much thought into it since it was an exhaust sensor.

If he were a new mechanic I was trying, Yes...

but I've known his for some time now and have never had a complaint. I do have to point out that its his 1st encounter with a g35 coupe, but he has over 16 years on this and has worked on numerous of nissans before, and also on various trannys

Just got word from the mechanic that the high voltage code doesn't appear anymore, but now the code is pointing is P1065. It has something to do with voltage and the ECM.

I think I'am leaning towards a busted ECM. Has anyone had this code before?? and have the same symptoms come up like me???

Thanks for the info man My problem is that the car isn't running normal as they were saying. My mechanic took the computer out and gave it to a friend of his. Later they told him that indeed the ECM had the memory component busted, and that the part doesn't come apart, so I have to buy the ECM completly
