Dare i say it....Plasti-Dip? ha! (PICS)

Day off from work. Boredom. I read some threads and watched some vids about Plasti-Dip and decided to plasti dip the polished lip on my rims. I have RacingHart C4-R in flat black. (FYI: C4-R were sold in silver and flat black. I did not paint the face of the rims! ha!) I figured, if the end product didnt look good, i can just peel it off...

Curious if this would peel up clearcoat on rims if it is already beginning to peel? I would try it with mine... maybe

Looks great!

you should take the next step and plastidip your whole car inside and out.

hmm that may have been a bad idea . plastidip can etch polished aluminum to the point of it not coming out . If you ever plan on peeling it off theres a chance the lips will be ruined .Also some tire dressings, cleaners and polishes will strip the plastdip

I had my rims plastidipped, it had stayed on since last October through the snow seasons. Still not peeling but sure gets dirty quick and faded.
