Sports Insurance?

Hey, I'm new to the forums and have a question. I am looking for a new car since my last got destroyed by idiots that call themselves repairmen. I am planning on getting a nice looking car with some power under the hood. If I don't get this car, I'll probably take my dads car and save up enough for a 5.0 Mustang by next year. These cars are really nice and I like they way they hug my body. The G35 Coupe is one of my main choices and was wondering do you guys pay sports car/high performance insurance?

Shop around for insurance. Geico wants too much for me so i went to AAA. they beat everyone. But i just resently moved farmers insurance which beat AAA. It all depends on how old you are, what discounts you can get and the year of your car. If you know that your not going to crash someone you can raise your deductable to a $1000 and pay less for your insurance. That is what i am doing.

what are you looking for? a car to chill or a car to race? cause the g is considered a luxuary/sport's car, so insurance is not gonna be as high as if it would be on Evo but its not gonna be as low as it would be on a Civic. So do research cause it also depends on your driving record and age

Yeah I pay roughly $100/month for full coverage on my 05 AT. But... I'm 28, never had a speeding ticket or been in any accidents, I'm married, and I have both my home and auto with the same company to get me extra discounts.

My wife's 02 Civic ex got totaled out so I gave her my car and picked up an 03 G35 Coupe 6mt. Our insurance went down $30 a month with the exact same coverage. Still trying to figure that one out.

Its because the g35 is probably more "safe" than your other car.. When i had my 2001 Audi and got my 2005 G35, they told me that the G35 is cheaper to insure because it had more safety features than the audi.. but i pay around 1,000k for 6months Liability only, i know thats a lot, maybe its because im only 19

I have Allstate for two reasons

1) Very competitive rates
2) Excellent claims payout

True, I could find slightly cheaper insurance but every time I've needed to use their claims service they hooked it up so fat. Some companies are cheaper but they wouldn't do what I wanted as easily as Allstate would. For instance, on my old Acura they paid for two-day shipping on Skunk 2 Pro Series UCA's when the stock ones needed to be replaced. They could have easily have just said 'our policy is that OEM or like OEM parts may be used for any repair.' Instead, they paid way more for aftermarket and I got a free UCA that wasn't needed on the other side.
