What do you mean by carputer available? You have to provide the carputer. There are ready made options if you'd like to go that route or make your own pretty easily or use an old laptop like I have to hook things up. The Xenarc screen you'd want is the 7" touchscreen. You'll find that one on www.digitalwheelz.com that's sold there.

First off, the unit looks very nice. I have a few questions about this setup if you don't mind:
1. What material is the monitor frame made of?
2. What would a PC user, w/o the touchscreen use for PC controls? I would assume a wireless keyboard and mouse?? I would also assume a trackball setup would be better then a mouse?
3. With the PC setup, what software is used for Audio/Video playback? I would assume Windows Media player?
4. What would be required (hardware and software) to run performance monitoring?? (0-60 times, etc..)
Thats pretty much all the specific questions I can think of right now, that pertain to this setup. but I do have a general question while I'm here, about TV tuners in general. I figure some of you auto A/V guys will probably know this. Are there currently any available TV tuners for cars, that pick up local OTA (over the air) digital signals, in addition to the regualar UHF/VHF analog? Soon, all local networks are supposed to be broadcasting digital signals, and this would be great to help increase picture quality. That being said, what are the chances this monitor can display HDTV (not that it would matter much on a 7" screen, but it would still be a little better).
I apologize guys, if some of these questions have been discussed or linked already. I'm not into the auto A/V thing too much, so I don't monitor that forum, but I love the idea of a "carputer". Thanks

I really want one! been seen them now for months. are you building a program that reads the car info.
G35TR- from what i remember for Q 2, u cant use a cpu without the touchscreen, since the screen without touchscreen dont have a vga hook up, just 2 rca connections. Q 3, yes anyone that u currently have on the pc that will go in the car. and for Q 1, i think it was a Metal picture frame 7"x4.75”.
