Maybe I should have put all in an album. Oh well.
Special thanks to God_of_CPU (Chuck) who helped do the install. I can vouch for him - he's a good guy and the product is great so far. I've just hooked up an Innovatek MP3/TV/DVD player to it which seems to work great. I'm waiting for his glovebox product to put my unit in there. I may also switch to the black frame on the screen to have everything match.
The product does come with great instructions as well.

Well to be honest, I can't take any credit as far as the installation goes. It seemed like Chuck has done this so many times, he could have done it in his sleep.
As far as the cost of the hardware, it was $375 for the screen and housing. I then got the MP3/DVD/TV player for around 130 so total is around $500 for this. Not that bad considering I want to add a standalone navigation unit in the trunk sometime and shouldnt be anywhere near the stock Nav price of $2000.
There's also a touchscreen unit for custom carputers that would work great with it too but that would cost more. He has a website - I'd check out www.digitalwheelz.com
As far as how it looks, pictures really don't do it justice to just how good it looks IMO. Also, that's The Italian Job playing there :-)

Pointless MOD??? This is just plain cost-effective.
With a screen in there and a little CPU in the trunk you get:
- DVD
- Navigation (potentially voice driven)
- MP3 Jukebox (save your $400, better than car IPOD)
- OBD monitoring and logging (real time stats, dyno features and trouble shooting)
- you can even get a PC-based XM setup for $50 with a much nicer GUI (save $300 on separate satellite receiver)
Total Cost = $600 touchscreen + $100 PAC-AIS/NIS (audio input to stock HU) + $300 GPS system + $700 solid mini-ITX PC + $100 OBD hardware+software = $1800 total
That competes very well with the stock navigation option for $2000...
The effort is the same as getting the aux audio input (which is hard enough, I'll agree).

If you want just to play a DVD/TV/MP3/NAV with 2 inputs, then you need the $375 model 700TV I believe. What I forgot to mention and left out is that I purchased the PAC-AAI unit. Thats the unit that will plug into my radio and use the Satellite button (I don't have Satellite and an '04 car). There are other options to get sound besides the PAC unit but nothing will sound better so thats why I went for that one. Feel free to ask me any questions via PM or here if you would like.
